Become a Member of the Lakeville Nature Conservancy

Joining the Lakeville Nature Conservancy is a great way to make a contribution to our community. Members enjoy regular monthly gatherings, during which news within the organization is shared. There are several subcommittees within the organization with which members may choose to get involved based on their specific interests.

To support the work and goals of the Lakeville Nature Conservancy, annual membership dues are collected from all members. Membership dues are $200 per year per person over the age of 18. Membership dues are waived for members under the age of 18.

Join the Young Conservationists Program

To get involved with the YCP, please join us on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:30 pm for an informational meeting. Current YCP members are welcome to bring a guest at any time. Youth should check with program leaders to see what materials, if any, are needed for specific meetings, as activities may be planned. Come prepared to learn and have fun!

Get Involved in Our Community Garden

Maintaining our community garden takes the dedication and hard work of many. We are always looking for community volunteers to pitch in and help make these gardens a blooming success. Early morning, afternoon, and early evening shifts at the community gardens are available to those who would like to tend to, water, plant, and prune in the name of conservation and in the spirit of growing a stronger community.

Purchase a Community Garden Plot

If you are interested in gardening but don’t have a green space of your own, community members are welcome to purchase plots within the garden. These plots can be grown and tended to by the plot owner, but we ask that each gardener, please, keep the plants grown within the theme of local flora and fauna.

Get Involved in Our Community Education Programming

Green educational programming is available through a partnership with the Lakeville Nature Conservancy. We offer unique programming for both youth and adults interested in learning more about conservation and the importance of preserving our natural environment. We can tailor most programming to the ages and goals of your organization.
